FOSP is a program to simulate multiple rays of light travelling through a straight section of fibre-optic cable. The program allows the simulation to be run on cables with multiple layers, each with a different refractive index. Other features include a built in graph plotter and the ability to output data to either text files of CVS files for loading into spreadsheet software.

This program is intended as a teaching aid for students studying A-level physics. To view the manual for the software, click here.

Many thanks to my physics teacher Trevor who suggested that I write this program for my A-level Computing project and who provided valuable feedback.
